WHO THE F*CK ARE ARCTIC MONKEYS
Arctic Monkeys are an English rock band formed in 2002 in High Green, a suburb of Sheffield. The band consists of Alex Turner (lead vocals, guitar), Jamie Cook (guitar), Matt Helders (drums, vocals), and Nick O’Malley (bass guitar, backing vocals) [1]. Known for their indie rock and post-punk revival sound, they gained prominence with their debut album “Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not” in 2006, which became the fastest-selling debut album in British music history.
Arctic Monkeys’ album “The Car” is their seventh studio album, released on October 21, 2022, under Domino Records. It consists of 10 tracks and spans approximately 37 minutes. The album has been noted for its distinctive sound and marks another evolution in the band’s musical style, continuing their legacy of blending indie rock with various influences.
